Student Assemblies

Elementary Student Character Assemblies
Character assemblies for elementary students occur every Wednesday during lunch period.  Elementary Assemblies for the Spring 2011 semester have turned in focus toward the study of Wisdom  - what it is, why it's valuable, where it comes from, and how it's pursued.

Students are invited to memorize a specified Scripture verse each week that pertains to the focus of assembly time and is communicated to students during the assembly and then afterward communicated to parents by email.

Secondary Student Assemblies
Assemblies for secondary students generally occur each Friday during the Community Life Period that occurs after the first two class periods of the morning.  Student assemblies generally include a time of student-led worship and Scripture-reading, followed by time for a guest or in-house speaker (parent, teacher, upper-level high school student, or staff member) to address the student body with words of encouragement and/or instruction that pertain to a theme chosen for the semester by Heritage Academy's Dean of Students and Families.  The theme guiding assemblies for the Spring 2011 semester has been "Whose servant are you?"
