Mr. Brock Gandy (2012 Graduate)
Favorite Bible verse: “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.” ~ Ephesians 5:1 Words of wisdom: I cringe every time I hear someone say “I’m not good at remembering names.” I encourage you to build the habit of taking such a genuine interest in everyone you come into contact with that you never forget a name. Look for ways to make a positive impact on everyone around you. This will go so far in personal relationships, relationships at church, and the professional workplace. |

Brock Gandy graduated from Harding University (Searcy, Arkansas) in 2009 with his accounting degree. He met his wife, Julya there and they just recently celebrated their ten year anniversary. He spent over six years working in public accounting with a national CPA firm, BKD. Currently, Brock is a Controller with the accounting and finance team of Revolution Plastics, headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas. Each year, Revolution Plastics recovers, cleans and processes more than 150 million pounds of used plastic material by diverting them from landfills and recycling them into high-quality, eco-friendly plastic products. Outside of work, he stays active at church, plays pick-up basketball as often as possible, and sits down at the piano every now and then.
Brock Gandy remembers his time at Heritage with these words, "While there are many positive things about my time at Heritage I could name, what stands out to me most vividly fifteen years later is the comradery and relationships that playing Heritage sports helped build. I’m not one who has an outstanding memory, but I believe I could tell you the name of every single person I played soccer and basketball with at Heritage because of the teambuilding at every 7 am practice." |
