Mr. Jacob Joos (2014 Graduate)
Favorite Bible verse: "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” ~ Romans 12:9-12 Words of wisdom: "Take ownership of the important things in your life. Dig in and own YOUR faith. Apply your time and efforts to growing the knowledge and skills God blessed YOU with. Take responsibility for YOUR decisions, good and bad. God has surrounded you with parents and teachers who love and support you; learn from them because someday it will be you standing on your own as an example to all those around you." |

One of his favorite memories from Heritage Academy is the Improv class performance during the Winter Showcase, where Cameron Hawkins, Johnny Cleek, Heather Moe, Audrey Humphreys, and I did skits that included a blender salesman, a nervous choir kid, Heritage's excitable basketball coach, a middle eastern camel dealer, and much more. I am not sure who was laughing harder, us or the audience. |
