Mr. Quin Colhour (2019 Graduate)

Favorite Bible verse:  "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." ~ Psalm 37:4

Words of wisdom:
"There are a lot of great things to focus on at Heritage but don’t forget to build relationships with the teachers. You’ll hear this hundreds of times but that’s because it is true. The teachers at this school are here because they care about you, and not just your academic self but who you are as a person with respect to God, those around you and your own conscience."

Alumni Spotlight

Mr. Quin Colhour is currently a freshman at Hillsdale College in Michigan.  Since graduation, his life has been a whirlwind of change, development and new opportunities.  Quin writes, "I look back on my graduation photos now and cannot believe that just a few short months ago that wide eyed and scared graduate left the nest of home to try to live in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people."

Since graduation, Quin has enjoyed a number of life changing experiences including moving to Michigan, joining club sports, and writing for the college newspaper.  Quin adds, "It has been a life changing experience and I can confidently say that God has looked out for me every step of the way by providing truly God-focused people with whom I can build friendships."

Quin looks forward to completing his education at Hillsdale with the intent to attend graduate school following graduation. He currently hold aspirations to become a psychologist.

Quin's Favorite Thing about Heritage
My favorite thing about heritage was the close relationships between students and teachers. We were never a large school or even one that had all the same resources as a public high school but this small pool of people created an environment that functioned more like a family than anything else, and that family has produced some of the most well fostered and character driven people I know to date.
